Registration Instructions

Please study the following instructions carefully before completing the form found in the Registration page (https://iats2019.sciencesconf.org/registration/index ). We regret that the registration form is available only in English and in French, but hope that the complete instructions in Tibetan provided below will enable Tibetan users to register without difficulty.

Important Information

Note that information regarding accommodations and optional excursions will be found in the pages ‘Accommodations’ (https://iats2019.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/6 ) and ‘Excursions’ (https://iats2019.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/7) which must be consulted separately from the registration process.

To Register:

After logging into https://iats2019.sciencesconf.org using the login name and password you have already created, go the page labelled ‘Registration’ (https://iats2019.sciencesconf.org/registration/index ).
You will find that your ‘Email address’, ‘Login’, ‘Lastname’, and ‘Firstname’ are automatically inserted. Please do not make any changes, but contact us (iats2019@sciencesconf.org) if this information appears to be incorrect.
For the ‘Default Language’ you may select either English or French.
Please provide your ‘Phone number’, including the country code (for example +86 for China, +91 for India, etc.)
In ‘Institution’, please provide the University or Research Center with which you are affiliated, or the name of your place of work. If these do not apply, please enter ‘Independent Researcher’.
In ‘Mailing address’, enter the accurate and full postal address that is best to use if documents must be sent to you by mail.
Select the ‘Country’ that is appropriate.
Under the question ‘Are you a student?’ please select the appropriate response.
Are you a member of the IATS? Answer ‘yes’ if you have already participated in the program of two or more IATS seminars.
If not, have you participated in the program of one previous IATS seminar?
If you have answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, you should have received a IATS registration number in connection with your participation in Ulan Bator (2013) or Bergen (2016). Please enter that number if you know it; otherwise, you may leave the space blank.
Answer the question ‘Are you able to make your payment using Paybox?’ (Paybox allows you to use many methods of payment, including all major credit cards). Paybox is the default mode of payment for IATS 2019.
If you are unable to use Paybox, please explain the reason in the space ‘Explanation’. We will only permit deferrals of payment for those cannot make use of Paybox at all, for example, if they live in a region in which online financial operations are particularly restricted.
Choose the appropriate payment category:

Regular fee / late fee: The regular registration fee for both participants and observers, payable until 15 January 2019, is three hundred (300) euros. After 15 January 2019 and until 15 April 2019 it will still be possible to register, but at the late fee of three hundred and thirty (330) euros..

Student fee: Student participants may register until 15 January 2019 at the student fee of two hundred and fifty (250) euros, or the student late fee of two hundred and eighty (280) euros from 15 January 2019 until 15 April 2019.

Deferred payment or Deferred payment - student: Those for whom it is impossible to use the Paybox system to pay their registration fee on line by 15 April 2019 are asked to select “deferred payment” or “deferred payment - student.” Deferrals will only be granted to those who demonstrate clear reasons for not being able to use the Paybox system. Deferred payments will be made in cash at the registration desk at the opening of the IATS in July.

Note that deferrals applied for by 15 January 2019 will pay the regular fee (300 €) or student fee (250 €) on arrival, if granted, and those applying for the deferral after 15 January and before 15 April 2019 will be subject to the late fee.

After you have completed the form, select ‘Overview’ and review the information you have provided. If you need to correct anything, select ‘modify your data’.

When you are satisfied that your information is correct, select ‘Submit’.

We will inform you if your registration application is accepted or, if not, what modifications are required. When your registration application is accepted, you will be able to make your payment (unless we have accepted a deferred payment in your case) and your registration will then be complete.

It is essential to note that those who have not registered for the IATS by 15 April 2019 will be considered to have withdrawn and will no longer be permitted to participate.

The payment of all registration fees is final. Refunds cannot be issued.
